Hi MatthewAs Frederick mentioned, we are all waiting anxiously for the public release of a REST API from 3CX. Whether that API will provide access to call history information is unknown (at least to me). None of the existing API's (including unpublished APIs) provide access to call history.
You can get some limited (but very useful) call information by parsing the CDR files 3CX can optionally create. Doing this in an automated way can be complicated (or impossible) in some cloud-hosted environments. I do not think 3CX hosted instances, for example, provide access to the CDR files?
Ultimately, we found it necessary to write our own VoIPTools REST API. To automate the parsing of the CDR files, and the synchronization of 3CX data into Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL, we built 3CX Exporter. With these two tools you can get access to all the same data 3CX uses for their built-in reports.
That is not entirely true there is a way to pull up call history, you just need to know how to get it. I have full access to the 3CX API and working on a app now that will give users full access to multiple PBX's simulator to pbxmonitor.net.None of the existing API's (including unpublished APIs) provide access to call history.
You could simply work with @BrenttG and get the features you want into the app. Instead of spending time building the wheel again. Not a copy, more info and more control.
I don't agree with that but anyway. Thanks, I was thinking about that, however, too many cooks in the kitchen spoil the food.
Have fun! IMO, you're making a bad investment.
No add-ons and No Installs needed, and will have a white label addition available.
