3CX Is Unable to Find Suitable Network Adapter (Activation Failed)

After upgrading from V15 to V16, I'm getting an Activation Failed error with the following message: "3CX is unable to find a suitable network adapter on this server. Check that you have an enabled network adapter and that it is connected to the internet so 3CX will be able to reach 3CX activation servers and activate your license."

There is only one network adapter active on the system. The nameservers set for the adapter are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

An nslookup on activation.3cx.com returns:

I understand that, however, I have many other installs with Windows 7 and V16 installed.

I guess I'll have to reinstall then upload the backup afterwards.

You can still upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10 for free, if desired, and your hardware is supported..

I would consider doing the upgrade on a clone of your original drive, so you still have something to fall back on, should things "not work out".
