I have created a 3CX instance on Amazon Lightsail following the instructions and the express setup. Can I delete / deactivate the API keys that I created during the installation now ?
I am asking the question because I notice that if one follows the instructions the created keys are actually root access keys that allow full access to the AWS account. I do trust 3CX, but still don't feel comfortable with this from the security side of things. So the second question would be if there is a way to install 3CX on Lightsail with policy limited keys that restrict access to a specific instance.

See https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/delete-access-key/

My question is not the "how", but I am interested to know if the key is still needed by 3CX or if I can simply delete it after installation.
You can delete.

For the second question API is only needed for PBXExpress. You can always follow the manual install instructions for 3CX.
