3CX softphone mute windows audio when called

Hi,

Maybe I am overlooking something in the configuration, but is it possible for the 3CX Phone to automatically mute all windows audio when an incoming or outgoing call is placed?

Windows 7 does have this feature, but it seems 3CX doesn't work with it?

Hi, I believe this will only work, if you have configured the softphone to use a headset via the front Audio sockets of a PC / Laptop You can configure the headset independently of the main speakers, this will then mute the main speakers of the PC / Laptop and unmuted them when the call is finished.

Just tested it this end and works fine.

Fair enough. Gues it doesn't work with an USB headset.
