Hello,

I am trying to upgrade the 3CX system to fix the iphone issues that I have been going on. When I click on update to run it, I get kicked out of the management console like it is going, but then I can log right back in without issues and no update has been done.

  • 3CX Version, Pro Annual 16.0.4.493
  • Server OS, Debian 9
  • Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where? Hosted Local
  • IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware Yealink t46s/ latest firmware
  • Provisioning Method: Local
  • Trunk Provider or Gateway Make/Model: Nexvortex
  • Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES
  • Are custom Phone Templates being used: NO

I would suggest to examine your network / internet connection.
Also the used static IP-addresses, DNS and other network settings of your 3CX server.
BTW, on what hardware is Debian / 3CX running? (CPU, Mem, etc.)

This isn't a new build though. This has been functioning properly over the past 3 months and then just today there was a problem. If there was a networking problem, wouldn't we have seen that from the beginning?

Thank you for all the replies. It ended up being something on the ISP side, a change they made that day and never told anyone. I had to change MTU settings on my firewall to match what the ISP needed and it was working properly right after that. Thanks for all your help!

Glad you figured it out. Curious as to how though. Were you having issues with other network traffic as well?

To my knowledge, they were not. Yesterday morning when I checked in with them, one user complained he couldn't get to certain websites. They have a website they clock in with and he could get to the main page, but not the login page and I could get it to from my computer remote from their location. Long story short, I got a phone call from their ISP telling me they changed the settings and the firewall was the problem, but it was totally their fault and didn't communicate the change. I was relieved and irritated at the same time.
