Hello Everyone,

In my PBX, I have an IVR that it's used for out of office conditions and it was in DTMF Mode in V18 to prevent external callers from dialing extension numbers. I have upgraded the PBX to V20 U1 and this feature seems to not be available anymore and the update renders these IVRs unusable. Is there any way to create an IVR and disable dialing to extensions?

Thank you in advance.

Hi there.
DTMF type of the IVR is no longer in V20, however it should continue to work if you upgraded the system.
Does it mean you want to create a new IVR DTMF type?

Hello,
The PBX did not allow me to edit these IVRs and the only option it provided was to delete it. How is it possible to prevent extension dialing to a new IVR?

Indeed, it won't allow you to modify it.
What you could do is use a new call processing script, following this guide here, or a CFD.

I see. Thank you for your reply.

EDIT: Are there any plans to provide this feature (disable extension dialing) as an option to a standard IVR?

You are welcome!

Hello,

Is it on the roadmap to return the IVR DTMF function in v20 at some point? Or has it already been decided that it won't?
