We have an onprem 3cx serverwe have a unified number like a toll free from STC which is configured as STC Trunk
Voice & Chat SIP named STC Trunk and the main trunk is 8888 with multiple DID
Voice & Chat SIP named Nabrah Trunk and the main trunk is 7777
Nabrah Extension win extension number 3001 and Mobile same as the unified number; all calls will be forwarded as it has a Call Forwarding rule of Forward external calls to my mobile
Outbound rules name Nabrah_Out Calls to numbers starting with prefix unified number and Calls from extension(s) 3001.

When an incoming call is forwarded to Nabrah Extension 3001 or the Nabrah AI, the caller ID shows the STC Trunk Main Number? how to fix this?

In summary, when an incoming call is from mobile number and its forwarded to another mobile number, how can 3cx show that the caller is from the original called ID not from the trunk number?

Hi, Which Sip trunk are you using? and if you actually make a call that can trigger the same outbound rule using this trunk do you see the main trunk number still?

Our main SIP trunk is from STC, however we had to configure a trunk connection as per the integration settings of Nabrah. https://www.nabrah.ai/en/docs/inbound-services. Yes i still see the main trunk number even i have changed the settings of

What you are referring to affects outbound call display names, not the caller ID itself.

You can copy the existing template and save it under a new name, then modify the SIP field used by the specific provider to pass the caller ID.

For example, if the SIP trunk provider uses the From User Part field to pass the caller ID, you can change the value of this field to OriginatorCallerID.

Once you have made the required change, save the template and then synchronise the trunk with the updated template.

This will allow the originator's caller ID to be passed using the SIP field required by the specific provider.
