Hi Guys,

Pleased to be a part of the 3CX forum!

I have an issue from a non geographical number I am trying to add to the PBX
voip.co.uk has allocated a non geographical number 0330 *** ****.
I have added this to the 3CX portal to the DID's tab as *330 *** ****
I have also created an inbound rule and there is also a default outbound rule for voip.co.uk.

When I call the number I just hear 3 beeps.
There is nothing in the logs....
Is there some trouble shooting I could conduct to understand where the issue is occurring..
Thanks
Chris

Need to clarify to the setup.

1. Is the 0330 number a sip trunk, and have you configured a sip trunk within 3CX and is the sip trunk registered and status light is green.

2. If the number is a ddi number associated with another sip trunk , does the sip trunk main number work

Have you check the event logs , to see if you can see the incoming call/.

Hi Saqqara

Sorry to add
I think I have just added the number to an existing SIP trunk. The light is green and the main trunk number is working correctly
Thanks
Chris

On the one your provider added that number ?
Do you have a mgt console on sip trunk provider side to see if that number is really enabled and associated to the trunk ?
Are the beep coming from your trunk provider?

Hi,
Just received a answer to my question from the provider. Ofcom needed to allocate the number to my provider which may probably be the issue!!!
Thanks for all your help, I though I was going mad!
BR
Chris
