Adding contacts from apple phonebook

I have a user who wants to add his personal contacts to the desktop app, I’ve looked in the forums and there’s isn’t a definite option for this as the post was back in 2013.

Could someone shed some light on this issue, as it would be a great help.

They can add or import their contacts via CSV.
