This question might have been asked before, can anyone tells me what happens when the trail for the free one year google cloud ends? Is there a pricing chart? I need this information for budget plan 2019, ballpark numbers are fine as well. Thank you in advance!!!!

Hello @IngenusVictor

Please note that once the one year free hosting expires the instance will be automatically deleted. You will then need to move the server to an instance you own as there is no option for renewal of the hosting.
You will need to perform a full backup of the system and download it away from the free 3CX instance. You can then use PBX Express to restore your backup to one of the supported cloud vendors.
The free licence will continue to work and you have 2 options. The first option is to not renew it which will mean that your licence will auto renew for another year but it will go down to 4SC.
Second option is to renew it and keep your 16 SC. I would recommend contacting a 3CX partner to help you with moving the PBX and help you choose the best route depending on your needs.

Hey @YiannishH_3CX

Thank you for answering that question, another question I have is that we're looking to purchase some service on google cloud and would like to use the PBX express to set it up. we would like to know the specs of the VM that our current system is hosted on, so we can purchase the same setup on our end and just do a full restore on the PBX express.

Micro 1 / Small 1

HOWEVER

You really should size the VM to the specs required for the number of SC.
Also, I'd recommend a minimum of 2 GB RAM, 1 vPCU, and 30 GB persistent storage if you have any aspirations of getting support from 3CX.

Thank you very much!!

Sorry to bring this up what OS is it running on

If you will use PBX Express then the PBX will run on Debian. Generally the PBX can run on Windows and Debian. Full list of supported operating systems can be found here: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/

So if we decide to use the PBX express with our google cloud account then it run on Debian? Another question since we're going to use our own google cloud service we do not have to "create" a VM on our account since the PBX will create it for us current?
