Solved Allow calls to be dialed without prefix?

I am in the USA and only call the USA. I have the 3CX app on my phone and make contact list is rendered useless because none of my contacts are prefixed with a 1 before the number. Is there a way to remove this requirement?

Sure, set up an outbound rule in 3CX. Assuming that only your extension is covered, add a outbound rule, select 'calls from extension' and enter yours, then for the prepend bit, add 001 or whatever is needed

You would have to have outbound rules, in the PBX, that matched dialled numbers without the 1. It could be based simply on digit length and apply only to your extension.
