AQL Setup

Hi

I have several AQL Sip channels and trunk I want to use with my 3CX PBX

Has anyone been able to do this. If yes can you advise me how?

This is not a supported provider so no guarantees, but if they can provide you with their settings and requirements it may be possible to make it work by creating a generic trunk.

They may be able to help you set it up manually, or you can try getting help form one of our partners

If I wanted to add a generic sip trunk how do I do so? as I don't see a generic option in the drop down list.

Trunk: Pick Generic VoIP Provider

Everything can now be edited regardless of what defaults you see.

If you are on a Mac by the way, please use Chrome for Mac to ensure it works correctly

Thank you! will try that now, can I ask another question with something I'm having trouble with, I have given AQL my IP as it works with IP authentication, however, I cant seem to ping my IP address of my PBX when I do so it times out, is there something I am missing? On the dashboard under IP it shows the IP and says static.

You will not be able to ping your PBX externally, just make sure traffic from your 3CX server is going out on the correct wan address and this ip should be the one configured with AQL.

Make sure you have open up the correct ports for 3CX on your firewall - https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/firewall-router-configuration/

You need to set up your port forwards as per this document:
https://www.3cx.com/docs/ports/

The 3CX dashboard also has a handy firewall checker to see if the appropriate ports are open for calls.
Click the firewall icon and start the test to verify whether your port forwards were successful.
