Good morning,

I am a new in 3CX community and need a help.
I want to configure our system that we have call on main number it comes automatic answer : if you are applicant dial 0, then it comes new message: for English language dial 1; for German language dial 2, if you are not applicant dial 3 or wait for receptionist to answer your call.

Is this make sense?

Thank you for your help in advance.

You will need to log in to the management console and create a digital receptionist (standard).

upload your prompt and use the drop-downs to specify where 1, 2, 3.... are routed to.

Then from your inbound rules, you need to direct your number to this digital receptionist.

You might want to also check out our training material on Digital Receptionist here: https://www.3cx.com/3cxacademy/videos/basic/digital-receptionist/

Since we're talking about inbound calls connecting to the Digital Receptionist you would of course also need a SIP Trunk and Inbound Rules to route the calls coming in so I'd recommend these as well:

SIP Trunks:
https://www.3cx.com/3cxacademy/videos/basic/configuring-voip-providers/

Advanced Inbound Routing:
https://www.3cx.com/3cxacademy/videos/advanced/configuring-inbound-routing/

Do let us know if you need more info or help on this!

Dear all,

thank you for your answers and support.

I did first inbound rule where destination during the working hours is IVR Menu1EN and configuration for Menu1EN is attached and it is configured first greetings with voice message which saying if you are applicant press 1 if you are non applicant press 2.
I configured
1-ring group wit h people in the group for applicant
2- ring group with people in the group for non applicant call.

How I can add option for German language?

Thank you in advance

You would have to create a second, German IVR, and send one of the choices to it.
So...as in your original post, that would be 2. The original greeting would have to be in both English and German. The second IVR could offer choices in German, and perhaps an English option, to return to the first IVR, if 2 was pressed in error.

As above, you can also nest IVR's

First you need to download the german system prompts - Settings - System Prompts - Select German and download the prompts

When you create the german IVR, change 'Digital Receptionist Language' to German'

Look at https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/inbound-did-call-routing/ where you maybe able to use CID Rules to route german calls to the german IVR . Use 0049* as the Caller ID
