Authentication issues

Hi,

I am using 3cx Phone System on a Server 2008 R2 Foundation. I have Logmein Hamachi vpn installed on the the Server and on my laptop. I have a direct vpn tunnel established between the two. When installing the 3cxphone on my laptop and using the auto provision option, the softphone appears in the phones section on the server. I assign it an extension and the provisioning process seem to work because the correct extension number is displayed the the 3xcphone. However, the phone cannot connect stating authentication failure.

Hi,

can you check the option for that extension, select that extension, tab ""Other" - disallow use of extenison outside the lan.. unselect, block remote tunnel connections also unselect

thanks very much, the tunnel option is greyed out but by removing the disallow extension outside the it is now working.
