Hi Guys,

I am trying to provision an Avaya 9608G phone to the 3CX system. I have followed all the instructions in the documentation (https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/avaya-ip-phone-provisioning/). I can see the Avaya phone attempt to connect to the 3CX provision URL but fails with an error 404. Access to the below URLs from my PC also brings an error 404:

http://<Local Server IP>:5000/provisioning/xxxxxxxx/<avaya phone mac>.cfg
http://<Local Server IP>:5000/provisioning/xxxxxxxx/

The Provisioning Link in the extension > phone provision is : http://<Local Server IP>:5000/provisioning/xxxxxxxx/

I can see the request made to the server as http://<Local Server IP>:5000/provisioning/xxxxxxxxxx/96x1Hupgrade.txt using a tcpdump and wireshark analysis. (I understand the txt file being referenced is created on the fly as i cant find it in my provisioning folder)

3CX Version - 16.0.655

Please assist.

Hi,

Check whether you have missed anything specifically from Step 4

- Template
- Firmware Package
- Logos

I have done the step 4 properly. I Am using the 3CX Linux Installation. Please see below:

Firmware Package -
Downloaded the Zipped folder, extracted individual files to folder in my PC. Uploaded the files themselves (not the ProvisioningFiles folder) to the folder; /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Http/Interface/provisioning/xxxxxxx/ . Only folder created is signatures.

Logos -
The 2 logo files uploaded to the folder /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Http/Interface/provisioning/xxxxxxxxx/logo/

Please note that i am changing from /provisioning/secure_folder in the doc to the actual folder created for my installation
