Blank FXS/DECT template

Hey guys,

Does anyone knows where I can find a blank template for DECT phones or FXS adapters?

I want to create my own for a DECT phone.

The term "DECT phones or FXS adapters" cover a lot of hardware. FXS adapters alone could be any ATA on the market. You'd probably best try to narrow down the make/model, then modify one for a similar model. While there are some SIP based DECT phones, the majority would rely on an ATA and therefore have nothing to do with any settings in a template.

What I mean is that I want to use my Grandstream DP750 with 3CX.

I know 3CX has support for 2-3 models of Yealink and Snom phones but why not the Grandstream one? It is not based on FXS or ATA but templates are similar.

I tried using a Yealink template and putting my DP750 config in it but it's time consuming.

If you are just doing a one-off, you could set it up manually. Doesn't appear to be that difficult.

Right mouse-click on the link and select save link as ... will do the job.

I can't. There is no link. It says "Not Available" and I don't know why.

I already looked upon this thread. Grandstream provide a template but only for 1 handset/1 extension. I really want a multi-extension DECT template like Snom M300.

Are you talking about multicell here (so you can roam between base stations with a live call) as this must be a supported feature. I cannot see this supported on this datasheet

I am not familiar with Grandstream DECT but I would doubt they would give it a different name. Yealink W5x DECT is single cell also, but as you have already states snom do a nice multi-cell solution albeit at a higher cost.

That is what I am talking about! Not the multi-cell, that I don't care. But I wanna be able to set multiple extension on my DECT using 3CX. Similar to how you configure a FXS adapter that has more than 1 port.

Yes multiple SIP accounts is fine and even if there was a supported template you would probably have to adapt it to support these anyway.

Did a similar sort of setup for Yealink W52P's, obviously we had a supported template to adapt which made it easier.

My point exactly. I want to use the DP750 like the W52/W60. I know FXS/DECT template are different from phone ones but I am pretty sure I can get it to work. However, 3CX should allow for 3rd-party templates, not just for phones.

Have you spoke to Grandstream support, I used them once and they were very helpful. I had to adapt one of the vanilla templates they provide directly from their site if I recall.

The custom templates works for phones only (.ph.xml), not FXS/DECT (.fxs.xml).

I have spoke with Grandstream but the template they provide for 3CX is not working for multiple accounts. So I can have only 1 account per base, which is bad.

I want to adapt the template to be used with FXS/multi-account functions.
