Hello,

PBX version 18.0.237 hosted on Linux in Azure.

We have been receiving nuisance calls where the number appears to be withheld:

Code:
From: "anonymous" <sip:[email protected]>;tag=16CEC0D2-61779D5F000C8F72-D19E7700

But a caller ID still appears in the P-Asserted-Identity field:

Code:
P-Asserted-Identity: <sip:+4474[...]703@185.[...].28>

Is there a way to block calls like this based only on the value of the P-Asserted-Identity, please?

Thank you

Hi @DanielGarner,

Do all the calls (regardless of anonymous or not) include a P-Asserted-Identity?

Thank you for replying: based on what we have seen so far, yes they do.

Hi @DanielGarner,

Okay great, if that's the case you can edit your SIP trunk and under Inbound Parameters change the CallerNum to P-Asserted Identity.

Now if those numbers are added to the blacklist, they shouldn't make it.

Thank you, Vasilis, that's perfect
