Hello,
We have a potential client with an older phone system but has 1 critical feature that we are trying to replicate. They have an after hours emergency on call. When a voicemail is left in the on-call mailbox there is a list of users that will get called.
When they are called they can hear the voicemail and press 1 to accept the call or 2 to decline the call. There is a list of phone numbers in an order and the system will keep calling the phone numbers in order until somebody accepts the call.
This works very well since it's an actual phone call that would wake somebody up in the night rather than just an email alert. As well the system will keep calling through the alert list until one of the on call people presses 1 to accept the call.
I'm not sure if 3cx already does this I haven't been able to see anyway it can be done right now. I could see this being a very helpful feature for any business that offers any type of on-call service.
Thanks,
Serge.
