Call Reporter Utility

Please use 7.1 because it has a new call reporter and all this is solved in this release

i did backup and restore through calllogsbackup.exe but it didn't work, nothing shows in the call reporter.
while backing up i have noted that one text file were created "calldetails" while the restore will try to restore three files.
so any idea?

What version of 3CX do you have at the moment?

i am using 7.0.4744 and planning to upgrade to 7.1.6278.

so basically I am backing up from 7.0.4744 and restoring on 7.1.6278

Did you do something like this

open command prompt

C:\Program Files (x86)\3CX PhoneSystem\Bin>CallLogsBackup.exe -backup c:/users/phonetester/testing

where c:/users/phonetester/testing is the path where the call logs are going to be placed.

You should have two files in the testing folder.
calldetails.txt
callhistory3.txt

Do you have these?

Yes, I have performed the backup as mentioned. I got only one file in the test folder: calldetails.txt
The callhistory3.txt is not there.

Callhistory3 will not be there in 7.0.

Calls from 7.0 -> 7.1 will be lost. This is because 7.0 did not have the call reporter. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

But from the moment you install any 7.1 version, Call logs will be viewable from the inbuilt call reporter.

Also RC2 has the option to restore call logs from the backup and restore tool directly without having to use command prompt.
