Solved Caller ID and PhoneBook Matching

Hi,

We are using 3CX 15.5.0

I wonder if we can put caller ID on incoming calls based on matching the number with a list of names in a phonebook.

We have a limited set of phone numbers calling us and we want to see the callers name on the phone when there is an incoming call.

The 3CX phone book will attach a name, if a number match is found, in the same way a mobile phone, or set directory does. Not sure how you intend to "put caller ID on incoming calls". The call either has Caller ID (number and perhaps a name), or it doesn't.

You may need to provide more detail on what you are trying to achieve.

Hello @Vadood

Add the numbers in the 3CX phone book. If the incoming number is matched to a contact then you will see the contacts name on the phones display.
