Hello,
We are having some difficulties setting the correct caller ID when forwarding an external call to a mobile (we want to have the original caller shown).
The "From : Display Name" and "From : User Part" are set to "OriginatorCallerID". However whenever a call forward is done the caller id is the Main Trunk No. This happens even though we have populated the Outbound Caller ID in our extensions.
Our Sip Provider has told us that it is the “Diversion” or “History-info” headers that need to be used in order to facilitate this.
They also gave us this example:
A >> SIP B >> SIP-B CF to C
External A-party called SIP B-party, SIP B-Party Call Forward to external C-Party.
If the PBX can send the Call Forward call-leg out with Diversion or History-info header that contains the SIP-B number, then the A CLI number can be preserved.
Is that something that can be done through the 3CX?
I would appreciate any answers.
