I'm trying to call an external number added to my flow but it just keeps disconnecting. My SIP Trunk is Flowroute. When I call our normal from my IP Phone or 3CX App it works fine but not when setting up CFD Flow I've tried Transfer and Make A Call.

Check your outbound rules that one exists not limited by extension but instead by dialed digits.

That rule should work. If calls are still not going out, you should check your SIP Trunk settings, and ensure that the caller ID is a number, and not "MakeCall".

Checking your CFD screenshot, setting the component to make the call from "did" will not work. You need to specify 2 numbers there, the origin and destination.

Where do I find these in v20 -- looks like its multiple options (sorry I'm used to the old way via management console and I see v20 doesn't have that anymore it's all one dashboard)

What are you trying to do here? Please note that the "Make call from" must be a 3CX extension, queue, ring group, etc. It can't be an external number. This way 3CX will call this extension first, and then call the external party.

Ernesto,

I have not tried this, but I am curious about the requirements that the "from" always be a internal extension. In the past we would make the outside party the "from" and the "to" be a queue extension. That way, a call is never sent to an agent until the outside party answers. I assume that in the scenario where the "from" is a queue, and the "to" is an outside party, the queue will not start polling agents until the external party answers the phone. Do you know if that is correct?

The number you defined as the destination is a 10 digit number and the outbound rule has 11 defined. Please amend your outbound rule.

Hi Matthew, yes, this is correct, however this is not working in v20 yet, this will be fixed in U1, which will be released soon.

I was able to get what I needed accomplished with this fix. Thank you! @edossantos
