HI all, weird problem. I can only log in at the local URL, I can get to the login at the FQDN and it shows the log in screen fine, but always says the user/pass is wrong. Anyone see this problem before?

Verify that your FQDN points to the right IP address.

Hi Frederick, where would I do that at?

If you use Windows, do a Tracert from the Command Prompt window.

If it's wrong where would I change it at? I take this is not in 3cx itself.

It should update on it's own. You can also use a site such as this...https://whatismyipaddress.com/hostname-ip

Have you tried logging in from another computer (browser issue?), or from another site (behind a different public IP)?

Ya, I tried it from a couple different networks and same thing, it comes up to login screen but says user/pass is wrong.

Have you tried using the original credentials from the PBX Express email? (If you changed them)

On a Windows PC, open a Command Prompt and run "nslookup -type=A your.3cx.fqdn". Verify that the IP address is the same as your WAN IP locally (available in your router or via "whats my ip" in google).

If both are okay, I'd open a support ticket to get the credentials resetted or the machine simply re-created.

This turned out to be a wrong IP WAN... CLOSE
