Hi,

I have provisioned new DECT Base( Gigaset N510 IP PRO) in 3CX. To this Base i have connected phone (Gigaset C620). From this time i cannot access calls menu on C620.I only hear a short signal and nothing happenning, it seams to me like call list is blocked on this phone. The same situation is on another Base DECT added from menu FXS/DECT.

Any idea, what configuration steps are missing?

It seems C620 are analogic DECT not SIP ones so they are not able to be paired with base
These phones are 3CX supported and working with N510 IP

  • Gigaset S650H Pro
  • Gigaset R630H Pro
  • Gigaset SL610H Pro

The C620-IP is an IP base (and analogue line), DECT cordless phone. It is a consumer offering rather than commercial, so some features may not be the same. I have several and will look into it when i get home next week. By calls menu, I assume you mean a list of missed, and placed calls?

@leejor. That's right. I cannot access a list of missed calls.

Hi,

Please provide some more information about your setup like so: https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/information-to-provide-when-requesting-help.67558/

Here is our guide for correctly provisioning the N510 (including links for upgrading)
https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/gigaset-n510/

Not entirely sure whether your current firmware edition supports the C620
Here is the additional information:
  • 3CX 15.5.15502
  • Gigaset N510 IP PRO Firmware - 42.248
  • Phone Gigaset C620H

@CodeTwo

We have not yet established whether your base is actually configured correctly, this needs to be confirmed first.

Here we see extension 025 registered

Going by this chart... https://www.provu.co.uk/gigaset-compatibility.html

this suggests the problem you're having is most likely a handset incompatibility issue as the base is a "professional" offering rather than consumer, and is designed to work with a limited range of handsets. While many Gigaset bases will work (basic functions) with many handsets even though they are not intended to, all functions (as you have found) may not be available.

Here is another chart... https://www.broadbandbuyer.com/features/1106-compatibility-between-gigaset-dect-bases-and-handsets/

So my previous answer in #3 was right on target

In this case the handsets are all DECT, which is digital (that's what the "D" stands for).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Enhanced_Cordless_Telecommunications.

It's the base units that may, or may not, have an analogue (PSTN) connection in addition to SIP connectivity.

..and while DECT standards may allow for registration of different models of handsets from the same manufacturer, (and different manufactures, in the case of GAP), all features ,beyond simple phone calls, may not be available. In the case of Gigaset, they probably don't want customers purchasing (what I assume are) lower cost consumer handsets, to be used with their professional products.
