Cannot Login FTP

Hi,

I want to use FTP for backup and whenever i try to login FTP server it always shows cannot connect to FTP. I can login FTP server from command prompt and SSH. Anyone knows why?

do you try to use secure FTP ?

Have you got something in logs?

Hi, 3CX is only using FTP for backup? The log shows it log in FTP successfully but 3CX shows cannot connect to FTP.

So I'm confused... you can login or you can't login? Your first post says you can't login, but now you say the logs show you can't login.

The FTP log says it logged in, but on 3CX it shows cannot.

So I don't know that 3CX is granular enough to tell a login failure from another error like if it tries to do a directory listing or checks permissions right after a login. I would turn up logging on your FTP to see what isn't working and maybe double check your permissions

Yes check permissions, idk about in 676, but in prior versions, a permission issue would also result in the same error.
