in softphone, I'm getting 'Call failed, not found'

on T48S I'm getting 'Call failed!'

I can make inbound calls on the sip trunk.

Trunk expects 11 digits for US dial

I have outbound rules for 10 digit, adding a 1 in front, 7 digits adding 1406, and 11 digits that doesn't add anything.

I've tried removing the 1 and just sending 10 digits, no change.

Call log says 'Not Answered'

ext to ext calls work. inbound calls work.

Where is my next stop on diagnosing the issue?

Check the following
- Make sure you have route 1 set to your trunk
- Make sure you have an extension group set

what order are your outbound rules , check they are in the correct order.

can you post a screenshoot of your rules

Check that 3CX Activity Log after a failed call. That will show if one of the outbound rules was used, where the call was routed, and, if it went to your provider, if it was rejected by them, for some reason (incorrect digits?).

ok, so this is well into the i feel stupid category. I had moved all extensions into groups and that was the issue.

but, where is the activity log? I feel like I should have been able to track this down from something in a log.

Version 15.5 it is big blue icon 'Activity Log' half way does the console

FYI. Can remove extension group from the outbound rules - just have the rule based on the length of the number being dialled.

You should have begun your own post, rather than hijacking someone else's, and you need to provide additional information about your particular set up.
