Hello Team

One of my client reported an issue with CDR Logs not getting update. His last CDR log was updated 17 days back ever since it made no progress. What could be the possible reasons ?

Please help

Hi @amannick,

Have you restarted the services?

This could be caused by a variety of different situations, such as disk space being full, permissions changing etc.

Anti-virus conflict?

Yes I restarted the permission multiple times no luck I also increased the disk Size and file size. but no luck... is there a way we can regenerate the CDR file

There is no way to recreate missing CDR files.

Hi @amannick,

To confirm, you're using the "Single file for all calls" in the Generate CDR section of the CDR settings?

I suggest moving the cdr.log file into another folder, and making a call - see if it creates a new cdr.log file. If so, delete the new one it made and move the old file back.

The location is of the log is:

Linux: /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Logs/CDRLogs
Windows: %allusersprofile%\3CX\Instance1\Data\Logs\CDRLogs

What version of 3CX are you running?

Hey @VasilisV_3CX

I tried deleting it but got an error.

rm /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Logs/CDRLogs/cdr.log: permission denied

Thanks
Aman
