Is it possible to access CDR files stored within 3CX hosted on lightsail? I've seen posts about access not being possible on Hosted, but not sure if these are referring to 3CX hosted instances which I believe are more restricted and don't have console access, or does this apply to any hosted instances? Not sure why it would be restricted given that I do have console access to the lightsail instance, but I don't know how to access the files.

Yes, you can access CDR in lightsail aslong as you have this setup.

You can view the setup instructions here:
https://www.3cx.com/docs/cdr-call-data-records/

You can access them via a shell client (FileZilla for example), or you can look at our 3CX Exporter tool which can process the CDR files automatically and put the data directly into a SQL/MySQL database.

I use WinSCP which I assume should provide the same function as Filezilla, but I'm unsure how I'd connect to the correct location as the docs only provide the path for Windows installs. I assume I need to open a specific port on the firewall, would I use the admin U/N and password??

Really after an idiots guide....

Just want to make it clear that the process involved for accessing the Instance's OS is not related to 3CX, as the instance may have been created via the PBX Express but it is a machine Hosted by the Hosting provider you selected (in this case LightSail) and is created under your own account.

Nevertheless, the location for a Linux machine would be: /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Logs/CDRLogs

For connecting to the machine, I found this guide by LightSail: https://lightsail.aws.amazon.com/ls...-connecting-to-linux-unix-instance-using-sftp

If you need more information though I'd recommend contacting them or checking their documentation.
