Hi All,

I'm wondering if there's any way to have the CFD application get the number to dial etc. supplied via an API from the client's CRM? We've looked at doing via the normal database lookup process but their dialling scenario is a little complex with multiple call back attempts at varying intervals of time. They've asked if it's possible to get the number to call via API instead and they'll handle the prioritisation of the calling numbers and when to dial on their side instead. Any direction on this would be greatly appreciated.

Instead of querying a database, you can invoke an HTTP Request so the CRM returns the information of the next call to make. Would that be what you need? Or you need to invoke an API from the CRM to 3CX?

Hey Ernesto,
Thanks for the response. The client is happy to work with a http request if that's the easiest way to accomplish it. They've been working with API and JSON output for other platform interactions already so they suggested that method. If we can accomplish it with http requests it will keep us moving forward with the project. Would you have an example of a http request that we could use as a starting point for this?
