Hello,
I have a SIP trunk with multiple DIDs behind it, and I only have one SIP account. The incoming rules work just fine and I'm able to route calls to extensions depending on which DID was dialed.
Normally when I have multiple trunks with individual SIP settings I setup outbound rules that route the call via one of them depending on the international code, e.g. a call to UK (44/+44) will be routed via a SIP trunk with UK DID associated with it.
How do I change displayed Caller ID depending on the dialed number while working with a single SIP trunk?
1. I cannot create multiple trunks with the same SIP settings and different names to use in Outbound Rules as usual - for some reason 3CX doesn't allow me to do that.
2. I cannot use Caller ID settings of a SIP trunk because they don't work with dialed number.
3. I cannot use "Outbound Caller ID" of an extension because the same extension calls to different destinations and have different CIDs displayed.
What confuses me the most is that I can handle different DIDs within singile SIP trunk in Inbound Rules, but the same is not possible with Outbound Rules with the same trunk. I feel like I'm missing something.
