Hi all.

I have an issue that i hope someone will be able to help me out with.

One of my Clients is implementing a PA system and needs a Cisco SPA112 configured. I have created an extension the PBX and using several pointers found on this forum i have used those credentials in the 'voice >line1' options menu and have tried to use the IP of the pbx as well as the FQDN in the proxy section. I have ensured that the firewalls do not allow ALG but for the life of me I cannot see why it is not registering. Can anyone else here advise where i may need to ammend a setting of fqdn on the SPA112 to get it to register.

Thanks

Ben

Hi Ben,
Is your SPA connected to same LAN as PBX ? i use SPA112 and no problems to register, i need to connect on one to remember if something special is set, since i've done i send a screen copy

When you create the extension for your spa 112, are you using a normal extension or a 3cx build-in special fax extension (in v16, left menu ->advance->fax)?
For all SPA 112 we have, we use normal extension and it works well. Follow aws2p first screenshot (quick setup), you have nothing else to configure (except if you use special network config, vlan or other things).

Have You checked the 3CX Activity Log to see if the registration attempt is even getting through? Any error massages? Perhaps it is has become blacklisted?

From your post , I'm assuming that the device is not on the same LAN as the server.

Please try to use the PBX <IP>:5060 or the <FQDN>:5060 in the proxy section.
