Hi Everyone,

Slight newbie here. I have a client that I just set up my first 3CX AWS for. It is working great. They had a power outage today so there phones at their location all lost power. The calls just went to voicemail that came in. Is there a way to get it so if the phones are not detected that 3CX will forward the calls to a cell phone? In this case all the phones that are in the ring group were without power.

Thanks in advance.

you need to use App on android or IOS and then even location is out of power you can call and be reached if you create for example inbound rule to App extension or a RG with several extensions .

You can use the forwarding rules for busy/unregistered. Just make sure to set the ‘allow multiple calls’ as well so it doesn’t forward to mobile while they are on a call.

It depends if you want to do a fast fix until phones come back working or if you want something that will occur often :)

As @CentrexJ instructs above, your forwarding rules have a not registered scenario.

When a phone becomes unregistered (no matter the reason) your forwarding rules will apply.

As a bonus, if you use the 3CX mobile client you can still take calls over LTE and not have to change your forwarding if you are already using it for something else.

You've to put a destination if not answered in the group calls too
