I'm trying to get 3CX to connect to Odoo through this RestAPI https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/16.0/restapi/ but I am getting the error shown.

I access the 3CX admin console via port 5001

You should contact the developer of this integration as it is a third-party not only on 3CX but Odoo as well.

That's why our integration doesn't use any third-party modules.

Unfortunately I dont have the skill level or time to write an XML-RPC to Rest API gateway as that would be the only way I could avoid using 3rd party apps.

Yes. With the XML template. It uses the XMLRPC API but through the proxy.
