Good morning,

I have a client thinking of moving to Comcast SIP trunks, and wanted to make sure there would be no issues connecting this to 3CX - I cannot think of a reason it would be a problem, but wanted to cover my bases.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hello @tech10

Please note that Comcast is not a supported provider so it has never been tested by 3CX and we cannot guarantee that everything will be working. I would recommend using a supported provider to ensure compatibility and be able to get support in the event that you face an issue.

Why would anyone willingly give Comcast money? Horrible company, awful service. Go with a company that is supported that will actually help you when there are issues.

Not a fan of Comast either but have used it. While 3CX does not list Comcast as a supported provider it does work. They work the same as the other cable provides in that they give you a local EMTA/SBC so there's no firewall issues to deal with from a trunk perspective.
