Configuring Patton SmartNode SN4114 VoIP Media Gateway

I think I know why it's not working, I think the Patton device i've got doesnt actually have FXO ports, I think the 4 ports are FXS. I checked it against a document on the patton website and it says 4 FXS ports. It's the SN4114/JS/EUI model. Does that mean the device is useless for what I want to do?

Yes. Thjs model is used to connect analog telephone sets, not PSTN lines.

I would recommend taking everything from the top, meaning:
1) Reset the GW to Factory Defaults.
2) Check in the IP Blacklist that the IP of the GW is not there.
3) Remove the GW from the Management Console
4) Recreate it using the wizard and upload the file again.
5) Once the device reboots, check its status under System Status -> Ports/Trunks.
6) Check the Outbound Rules and log gain during a call.
