Hello, I've searched for this and haven't found what I am looking for so this may need to be under feature requests. Found plenty "delay issues" with paging but this isn't an issue as much as I am looking for an alternate method to perform a function.

Normally when a client wants paging to external speakers I use an adapter like a PA2 and hook it up to their existing overhead amplifier. The "Problem" is that when OH paging from a phone which is close enough to an OH speaker that you would get some pretty nasty feedback which is to be expected. I normally solve this by having the client fund a V-9964 which I install between the PA2 and paging amplifier. The problem is those units are quite pricey and it seems there are some clients that its quite a hard sell based on whatever circumstances they bring to the table.

The V-9964 is marketed as a feedback eliminator because all it does is records your message then plays it when you hang up. It has some features like repeating the message, allowing multiple messages to come in then playing them 1 after another, etc...

Is there any way to have the phone system perform functions to eliminate that hardware? I have many clients where a warehouse manager needs to page the warehouse where the ambient noise on top of an insanely overamplified OH page makes it impossible to page. Same with medical facilities where a nurse station needs to call out a code and they cant because of the OH speaker nearby.

Or am I missing something fundamental with some echo cancellation on 3CX or existing phones? The majority of our clients run fanvil X5, X6 series phones, some Yealink sprinkled in. I am also open to other hardware changes that may have this built in instead of the Fanvil PA2 if something exists at that step of the call-flow.
