Deskphone also ringing when using smartphone dialing in webclient

We have a strange issue when dialing from the webclient/desktop app. When we select to use our smartphone for dialing, the deskphone rings at the same time as the smartphone.You can then answer the smartphone as well as the deskphone to make the call. Am I wrong in thinking that it should only ring the smartphone? Is this a bug in the new version?

Hello,

This functionality uses the 3CX "Make Call" method.

This method will ring all your extension endpoints so this is normal behavior.
