galaxy s5 active (sm-g870a) with android 6.0.1 march 2017 security update, kener 3.4.0-9723602 with 3cx 16.0.0.47
is there a known issue with the home and back buttons being disabled. after a reboot, everything works fine but after some time and working on the phone (nothing suspicious or specific) my 'app list' and home buttons stop working as far as what they are supposed to do. the buttons seem to be software disabled (if i double tap the home button, samsung s voice starts up showing the button is still functioning). if i activate the one-handed-operation mode, the screen shrinks and is brought to the corner of the display for easy reach and a soft home, app list, and back button is displayed on the screen. the soft buttons do not work either (until rebooted)
3cx was suspect (somewhere it changed where you had to press back twice to exit) so i uninstalled it for about a week and did experience this issue. i re-installed it and now it's back.
any knowledge on this?
thanks
