galaxy s5 active (sm-g870a) with android 6.0.1 march 2017 security update, kener 3.4.0-9723602 with 3cx 16.0.0.47

is there a known issue with the home and back buttons being disabled. after a reboot, everything works fine but after some time and working on the phone (nothing suspicious or specific) my 'app list' and home buttons stop working as far as what they are supposed to do. the buttons seem to be software disabled (if i double tap the home button, samsung s voice starts up showing the button is still functioning). if i activate the one-handed-operation mode, the screen shrinks and is brought to the corner of the display for easy reach and a soft home, app list, and back button is displayed on the screen. the soft buttons do not work either (until rebooted)

3cx was suspect (somewhere it changed where you had to press back twice to exit) so i uninstalled it for about a week and did experience this issue. i re-installed it and now it's back.

any knowledge on this?

thanks

is android 6 still supported?
i uninstalled 3cx yesterday and have not had this issue with the 'app list' and home buttons that stop working yet.

any input from 3cx on this issue?

does anyone from 3cx read this forum on android client?

Hello @Shawn

Android 6 is still supported as an OS. We have not had any similar reports on devices experiencing this issue. Do you have a different device to check? We test the client on a number of devices with different Android versions and we have not had this issue. Not sure if we have a Galaxy s5 active though.

I removed the 3CX app a few days ago and have not seen this issue since. This definitely seems to be a problem directly related to the 3CX app. I'm not too worried about it and I'm sure you guys have enough to work on with newer versions of Android.
