I have 2 extensions that are showing old names.
I have 3cx hosted on cloud and using SBC to connect phones. My one location desktop phones all seem to be showing the correct name for the new user, but the other location seems to be showing the old name.
For example, Ext 233 is showing Dan on the desktop phones.
I have tried everything I can to get this fixed and it doesn't apply. Reprovisioning, readding extension, updating software/firmware.
I don't see this name anywhere in the system or even in the settings on the phone. Everything else you can see the new user, but on the desktop phones.

Have you tried to factory reset the phone, and the provision it anew?

You wrote "phones," plural. Do you mean BLF? Speed dial (which uses a typed in title)? Directory?

Wait - So you have an extension which has a new name, but some other 3rd phone will show Dan instead of the new name when they receive a call from them?

I'm not sure I understood your issue well, perhaps some clarifications might help

Is it possible that the name is being taken from a directory on the called set?

I had ext 233 setup for user Dan, then it was deleted and recreated using name Ricardo, but when that ext calls to our other location, their caller ID is showing up as Dan. So i tried to delete extension again and recreate it, still happens, so i tried factory reset the phone and no luck. This is happening with 2 extensions i have.

The issue is likely that the other phones still have the old phonebook entry.

No need to troubleshoot Ricardo's phone anymore.

how can i push the new phonebook entry to the phones? Ive tried restarting/reprovision the phones which are showing the old names as well.

Please share the following information so we can see what can be done:

- Model of phones
- Firmware version number of each model
- Do you use any custom templates?
- Do you have more than 1000 entries in your company contacts?
