This is an issue that has been here for some time. related thread https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...-users-logged-into-pwa-when-no-one-is.112995/

I know how PUSH works and i understand why the extension has to remain registered in order for the PUSH to work. However the whole concept is not correct in my opinion. If a user has shut down the computer completely and has no other device where the extension is logged in, no phone, not tablet, nothing, then the extension should appear offline, at least to other users otherwise the other users will call them, it will seem like it ring but obviously it won't since computer is shut down.

Disabling PUSH is not a viable solution, especially if PWA is used as notification will not work.

I think there should be a mechanism to keep the extension registered but understand when the client/device is not connected to the PBX and show the extension as offline, hence not able to receive call. Even trying to "exit the client" and logging out didn't do the trick but even if it did, its a bit of pain to ask every user to exit client when the shift is over and then log back in when they come back.

I don't know if there is any work around this other than using the Desktop App and disable PUSH, or maybe a suggestion to develop?

"Do not disturb" status is better and far more flexible in accomodating multiple devices and their different network environments - think also of "Also Ring my mobile", which also would mark your extension as registered, but will perfectly fit in the "Do Not Disturb" status.

"Do not disturb" would indeed work but again, that requires the users to manually put themselves in that status and the majority would just forget and just shut down the computer. Unless there is a way to automatically have the do not disturbed enabled
