External party call display issue

Hi,

I have 3CX Version 16 with ISDN gateway with SIP trunk to ISDN gateway. When receiving calls from the external party, an external party phone number display on the phone screen with the trunk name as bellow.

:JP1 (0356959467)

JP1 is the trunk name. How can I remove the trunk name and display only the external party phone number?

Any information would be highly appreciated.

Hello,

You can go to your management console and check Advanced > Contacts > Options

There you can select to prepend the trunk name or not by choosing "Do not add"

Thank you very much for the reply.
It is not the issue with the contacts. I can see number diplay as
:JP1 (0356959467) when we receive call from external number not in the contact.

I think it has to do some changes to inbound parameter of trunk but i don't know exactly what to select.

You may be getting a blank somewhere I think you should check your logs then or run a capture to see:

a) what the ISDN gateway sends you (it may actually be sending this as an ID)

b) then looking at the inbound parameters and decide accordingly.
