I am trying to set up failover between a 3CX Hosted instance (active instance) and a separate cloud-hosted instance (failover/backup instance). It has an Enterprise license. The 3CX Hosted instance is already configured and running, and backups to an off-site location have been started. The "Failover" button in the "Backup & Restore" section is still greyed out and cannot be selected.
I read the hosted PBX FAQ (https://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/hosted-pbx-faq/), which states, "No scriptable IVRs or HA Configuration." I read that to mean that I can't script IVRs, and I can't add HA/failover scripts but not that failover wouldn't work. I read the Failover docs (https://www.3cx.com/docs/failover/) and nothing there says it shouldn't work in the 3CX Hosted environment.
Is failover of a 3CX Hosted instance really not supported, or am I missing something in the configuration?
I appreciate any insight or troubleshooting steps.
