Solved Free Edition

Hi

I know that this has been discussed before, but I just wanted to make absolutely sure how that will work.

We're on the 16SC free edition until January 10th. I saw in the forums that after this date, the license will be downgraded to a 4 SC license with active maintenance without the need to do anything from our side.

Will this also be true for 2019 or were there any changes? The reminder emails I get from 3CX indicate that there will be no active maintenance anymore so I would be very glad for a clarification.

Yes it's supposed to remain free but if it's that big of a concern for you just spend the $188 USD and you can sleep well at night.

@DasGP - Yes license is free and you should have to do nothing. I believe our auto mailers are confusing as we have not updated them for this new free edition. We will address this asap. In january you will get the new Standard edition and 8 sim calls free of charge - no need to do anything....
