Hello all,

  • 3CX Version, - Latest version installed today July 9, 2020
  • Server OS, Debian (Installed thru PBX Express)
  • Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where? AWS Lightsail Micro (1gb ram instance)
  • IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware: N/A
  • Provisioning Method: Local / VPN / STUN / SBC (FQDN provided by 3cx)
  • Trunk Provider or Gateway Make/Model
  • Has the Firewall Checker passed: N/A
  • Are custom Phone Templates being used: N/A

PBX Express finished successfully but I do not have access to neither the admin or user web portal now 2+ hours after finishing. I thought to give it time for the DNS to update but I see the DNS cert looks fine and is pointing to the public IP. I've tried to enter the FQDN and the public IP address directly on both Chrome and Firefox on different computers, but they all get 403 error. I've checked the services all show as running, 3cxpbx is installed, although I can't call 3cxpbx as a program in the command line. I don't know if that's intentional, but seemed odd. I ran sudo apt-get update and then apt-get upgrade, which updated some programs but there was no change after rebooting.

The last post here showing 403 error was having an issue with Windows and an Antivirus. I'm not a Linux or network specialist, but I am a coder with some knowledge in both. How can I debug/triage this error?

*EDIT* I think the issue is a lack of SSL cert for the domain which was setup through 3cx.

So reboot the Lightsail instance or try to redeploy. No use troubleshooting something that hasn't worked from the beginning.
