Hello Internets,
After evaluating 3CX for several months, we are now going to migrate our Cisco environment to 3CX in production. We have approx 450 Cisco physical phones which will be replaced with yealink phones. We do about 3,500 - 5,000 calls per day.
My questions are:
1. We have about 30 departments that currently leverage Cisco UCCX for call quequing and they will be migrated to 3CX. So we will have extenstive call queueing. Following this guide, https://www.3cx.com/docs/recommended-hardware-specifications-for-3cx/, I'm going to recommend that we categorize our VM as "enterprise" and build out our production VM to those specs vs the "Large" specs. Any thoughts on that?
2. We do plan to leverage call recording, and on prem web meetings (when v18 is in general release). We are implementing VoipTools and I think that will be on a separate VM and I believe it manages the call recordings very nicely. But for disk space management ( https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/pbx-management/#h.x3dbdauqw0m7 ), do people generally install into one large partition vs multiple partitions? ( https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...nd-performance-on-debian-linux-version.49331/ )
Thanks
