Gigaset n870 provisioning problems

Hi all,

i am trying to provision an Gigaset N870 but when i configure the profile it gives me an web interface password that does not contain any special symbols and also cant contain special symbols. Logging in to the gigaset webinterface it askes me to change the default password but it must contain an special symbol.

how can we get this mismatch resolved because i think this is the reason i get provisioning failed.

Hi,

The interface password is not related to provisioning, it is only related to the web UI.

So, the first time you log in after resetting (using admin/admin), you should provide a password it accepts to allow you on the rest of the web UI:

You need to type a password that will conform to the red box for example Abcd123!


Once you finally log in, follow the instructions here to provision it.

The password you entered will eventually be replaced with the one from your 3CX management console FXS/DECT page
