Google Drive backup can't enumerate folder

Hey All,

We installed our 3CX via the Express option and can't seem to get Drive backup to work. We've completed the Authorize step but when trying to enumerate Drive to pick the location we only get a blank window.

This eventually lands at an error: "3CX Management console is not responding. This maybe be a browser issue so try to refresh or try and clear your browser cache and try again."

Are there supposed to be folders in there? If you created a brand new Gmail account for this purpose then a blank window is correct as there are no folders there. If you want to put it in a folder you have to login to Google Drive directly and create one first.

Yup. There's a few folders in there, one actually named 3CXBackups. Funny thing, there's now 3 zip files on the root of Drive from 3CX. (We choose a 3 file retainment). But the files show as created all on one day, yesterday.

Maybe it's working then...?

I'll check back again tomorrow and see what's there.

There have been some bugs with Google Drive backup. We had a support case on it. Our issue was it would work for a while, then lose permissions to see folders. Not sure if they are fully resolved yet - maybe someone from 3CX will chime in.

Interesting to know other people have been having issues with Drive as well.

Update: There's 3 new backups in Drive this morning. Looks to be working. The files says they're modified at 12:59am today, but their creation dates show 3 different days.

Soooo, even though we can't pick a folder in the prompt and get the Not Responding error, Drive backup looks to work.

How long did your setup work before it started losing permissions?
