Hello,
we have the following issues: When the phone rings, we have a huge delay after picking up the handset on incomming calls.

The phone is directly connected to the local network.

Any idea?

Just one endpoint or all ? who are you using for trunking ? SIP provider (supported), ISDN, FXO ?

We use a SIP Provider, all incomming calls, internal and external. The Phone doesn't realise that somebody picked up the handset

We have the issue only with Grandstrem. Yealink works fine.

I found the reason: PoE. When you connect the power supply, everything is fine. Strange....

Hi @Matthiasw

Insufficient power can cause instability issues, but you can try swapping the handset with another that works on the same LAN port, and see if the "good" one starts acting up and the "bad" one starts working ok to verify.

Note: It could also be the reboot that made the problem go away

@matthias check your POE switch supports power modes (classification/consumption modes) some switches will only supply power that is necessary to the power class (classification) where consumption will provide what is actually required from the phone.

I am assuming you have a managed switch of course.
