have paid subcription forgot password not working as smtp not setup so am locked out!

hi self hosted but cant get into to my managment console even though i have a pais subscription! can anyone reset it for me?

Unfortunately, this isnt how it works.

There have been several posts of the same nature on the future, you should start by searching there.

Though.. i think the previous solution was to do a backup from cmd, edit the XML to set the SMTP server and perform a restore but I dont think this is possible anymore as 3CX sees the edited backup as corrupt (try anyway just dont encrypt it), i may just be referring to encrypted backups.

So im not 100% sure if its recoverable at this point. Maybe you'll have to pay for a 3CX Support ticket and see if they can extract from your backup.

It is still working like that. But we dont know if he tried to reset the password....
